David Hobbs and Thierry Boutsen competed in this Porsche 956 (chassis no. 114) for the Skoal Bandit Porsche Team in the Silverstone 1000km race on May 13, 1984. After just over five hours and 199 laps, they finished a respectable eighth. Jochen Mass and Jacky Ickx took the overall victory in the factory Porsche 956.
